Age 88, 0f Little Canada. Preceded in death by parents Esther Hanson & Roy Hanson Sr.; son John; brother Roy Jr. Survived by his wife of 41 years, Kathy; children Christine (Cliff) Canaday, Cecelia (John) Albright, James (Gail) Hanson, Mary Hanson and their mother Adel Hanson; grandchildren Casandra (Cory) Gralish, Caroline (Tim) Sullivan, Gary Albright, Jason (Katie) Albright; 4 great grandchildren; step children Cole (Brenda) Gannon, Terri (Mark) Frankin, Danielle Aguilera, Donna DeChaine, Dawn DeChaine Resemius and also other loving family members. Ray was a lifelong resident of Little Canada who loved the city and its people. He served his community as a city council member and mayor for 16 years. He was founder and committee member of the Little Canada Canadian Days Celebration for 40 years. Visitation 9:30 to 11:00 AM, Tuesday, Sep. 18, 2018 at the Church of St. John the Evangelist, 380 E. Little Canada Rd., Little Canada. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM. Interment St. John’s Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to St. John’s or donor’s choice.
